Alex is a chartered Architect with extensive experience designing for the education sector. Alex has worked at HLM Architects for over 3 years and in this time has worked on a range of schools, colleges, and universities around the UK. The majority of Alex's time is spent working in collaboration with offsite modular contractors.

Prior to joining HLM Architects, Alex has worked internationally in Europe and the Middle East, working within a range of sectors including commercial, transport, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.



Dinton Activity Centre 

Looking in detail at the recently completed Dinton Activity Centre this presentation will explore how the design was informed by its unique brief and site location, how the project was delivered using off-site volumetric modular construction, and how the building achieves operational Net Zero Carbon – the first building within Wokingham Borough Council's property portfolio to do so.
